Deep inside I bleed
My inner darkness beats
An evil swallows me
Stranded on my knees

I do not want to run
I do not want to heal
The pain inside I feel
My vision so surreal

Society has left behind the darkness of reality
Pointing fingers for a war that has risen from remorse
Horrid visions shape my mind, isolation from mankind
I cannot refresh my eyes, lifeless soul now paralyzed

Beneath the cloak of darkness
Consumed by arrogance
The reap of imperfection
Bears forth to ignorance

The weak behave in fear
When the curtain draws away
The truthful eyes reveal
Man's illusion of escape
