WRITTEN ON SCREEN:
6:55 - “Again, to be clear, I am repeating what they said to me, this is now how I view myself. In fact, I think part of why their high praise made me so emotional is because I often doubt myself or feel like I’m “not good enough” at being a blind person and face so much judgement for the things that I’m not good at, or can’t do, but rarely hear from knowledgeable people about the blind skills I really excel at. Hearing their confidence and faith in me as a guide dog handler, and as an independent navigator made all the effort I’ve put into my O&M and guide dog skills SO worth it, and made me feel like maybe I can forgive myself for the skills I haven’t fully developed yet.”
12:35 - “It tasted good once we took out some of the ingredients I didn’t like! Haha”
15:09 - “Before anyone even thinks to ask, the design on the can was described to me, and the black lines are actually a different texture to the white can, so I can also feel the design a bit.”

I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕 Taking My New Guide Dog On His First Flight!
