On today’s Scout Report, we look at three clubs who could win the title against the odds this term. First up is Napoli, who have been the most impressive side in Serie A so far this season under new manager Luciano Spalletti. With their defence in amazing shape, Victor Osimhen firing and Lorenzo Insigne in costintently imperious form, Diego Maradona’s former club are in with a big shout of their first Scudetto since he left them.
In Spain, Sevilla have generally been the best club outside the big three of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona over the last decade, and with no clear frontrunner as yet in this season’s La Liga, Julen Lopetegui’s side are well placed to stage an upset. We also assess Borussia Dortmund’s chances of taking the Bundesliga crown off Bayern Munich – they may be slim, but Nagelsmann’s humiliation in the DFB Pokal proves the Bavarians are far from invincible.
